Our latest quarterly Project Managers’ meeting brought teams together to review business performance, discuss live projects and recognise our Q2 MVPs.
At Sale Group, it is important to us that our Project Managers understand how integral they are to the business as a whole. These meetings give them a voice, not only to discuss what is going well, but also to speak openly about the challenges we face in an ever-evolving industry.
This quarter, we reviewed progress against our financial targets, discussed key client relationships and shared detailed insights from past and present projects, encouraging honest dialogue on how we can continue to improve. We were also joined by MKC Corporate for a discussion on pensions and Daikin for an update on the future of VRV technology and Net Zero targets.
Congratulations to Cameron Hardstone, our Trainee MVP, recognised for her work ethic, quality output and adaptability.
Congratulations also to Danny Schrier, our Staff MVP, recognised for going above and beyond across projects while supporting our trainee Project Managers.
On Friday, 22 May, we hosted a cake day in support of the MPS Society campaign.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who baked, bought cakes and donated, the event raised £853.03. Sale Group then matched the amount, bringing the total donation to £1,706.06.
MPS refers to a group of rare genetic conditions, and the MPS Society provides vital support to the individuals and families affected by them.
The day received a fantastic response, with members of the local community stopping by to enjoy the cakes, make donations and spend time together.
A special thank you goes to Karen Page, Karen Davies and Selin Ryustem, who were absolute stars throughout the event. From welcoming visitors to encouraging people to get involved, they helped create a warm and inviting atmosphere.

Sale Group are proud to return as Headline Sponsor of the 2026 Mental Health World Cup, continuing our support for an event we have been involved with from the very beginning.
The event uses football to bring people together and shine a light on mental health, creating space for important conversations both on and off the pitch.
For us, this sponsorship fits naturally with who we are. Construction asks a lot of people, and we believe wellbeing and resilience matter just as much as the technical side of the job.
We’re proud to support Giancarlo and his team as the event continues to grow, and we look forward to being back on the pitch in 2026.
What a great evening at the Overbury Charity Quiz event last night, with so many companies coming together to support a good cause.
Over £500,000 was raised on the night for 20 charities, which is a fantastic result and a real credit to the organisers at Overbury and everyone who took part and contributed.
As for “The Sale Team”… after a really good start, we eventually secured a top spot in the bottom 10! 😂
It was a pleasure to be involved, and we’d be happy to support the event again next year.

Sale Group has officially become an Employee Ownership Trust, marking an important new chapter in the company’s history.
After 25 years leading the business, founder Pete Sale will be moving into the role of Chairman, continuing to provide support and guidance while allowing the leadership team to drive the company forward.
The move to employee ownership helps secure the long-term future of the business, protecting its independence and giving the people who have helped build Sale Group the opportunity to share in its continued success.
As part of this next chapter, Sean Dailey and Kelvin Lyons will take on Managing Director roles for the Southern and London regions, supported by Finance Director Niall Giblin and Commercial Director Neil Parker.
This milestone reflects the strength of the people behind Sale Group, from our loyal staff to the clients, partners and suppliers who have supported the business over the years.
While the structure of the company is changing, our values remain the same. Sale Group will continue to deliver the same personal, hands-on service, built on long-term relationships, trust and care.
A huge thank you to everyone who has been part of the journey so far. We look forward to continuing to grow, evolve and build on the Sale Group legacy for many years to come.
Terrible weather, great golf and £38,000 raised for two brilliant causes — that’s a day well spent.
The SGL Championship 2025 took place on 17th September at the incredible St George’s Hill Golf Club, and as always, it was one of our favourite days of the year.
This year we raised over £38,000, bringing our total to more than £190,000 raised over the years for The Children’s Trust — and for the first time — also supporting Diabetes UK through this golf day. A huge thank you to everyone who supported us and to our sponsors for helping make it all happen.
Despite the weather, 24 teams and 96 players made the most of the day — plenty of laughs, good golf, a few friendly rivalries and a brilliant evening of trophies, auctions and celebration.

Exciting progress at our latest project in Hertfordshire – Riverlabs, a dynamic new life sciences campus designed to support innovation, collaboration and sustainability in the biotech and pharma sectors.
We’ve just completed a crucial stage in the build, with all the new mechanical plant being positioned on the roof.
Leading the way were six new Daikin Air Source Heat Pumps, lifted and placed with precision.
This is a complex, technically demanding project — and one we’re proud to be a part of. We’ll be back to check on the next stage of progress soon!
