On Friday, 22 May, we hosted a cake day in support of the MPS Society campaign.
Thanks to the generosity of everyone who baked, bought cakes and donated, the event raised £853.03. Sale Group then matched the amount, bringing the total donation to £1,706.06.
MPS refers to a group of rare genetic conditions, and the MPS Society provides vital support to the individuals and families affected by them.
The day received a fantastic response, with members of the local community stopping by to enjoy the cakes, make donations and spend time together.
A special thank you goes to Karen Page, Karen Davies and Selin Ryustem, who were absolute stars throughout the event. From welcoming visitors to encouraging people to get involved, they helped create a warm and inviting atmosphere.
